2026 Come & Try Sessions: Thursdays in March
Join in the fun - this March
Every year the Brighton Lacrosse Club run Come & Try Lacrosse Sessions during March. Our junior sessions are the perfect way for kids to get active, make new friends, and learn exciting new skills – all in a supportive and friendly environment! No experience? No problem! Our coaches will guide players through the basics and all of the equipment is provided.
Kids will learn…
- How to throw, catch and scoop the ball with a lacrosse stick
- Basic teamwork and game strategies
- Hand-eye co-ordination and agility skills
- The excitement of a fast-paced, goal-scoring action
- Confidence and sportsmanship in a fun team setting
Lacrosse is a fantastic way to stay fit, develop new skills and have a blast on the field. Come and give it a go – it’s free, fun and no equipment is needed.

Did you know you can play lacrosse as young as 6? Brighton Lacrosse Club caters for girls and boys from Under 8’s through to U17’s, Senior teams – Division 2, Division 1 & State League in both Women’s and Men’s
Come & Try Sessions for Adults
We also run Come & Try sessions for parents of players so they can grasp a better understanding of how to catch, throw and play lacrosse. Whether you want to just learn to have a throw with your child or you are keen to learn more and see if you might like to play in one of the senior teams, we encourage you to come out when the sessions are held.
